What is Chiropractic？
Chiropractic works by restoring your body's inborn ability to be healthy.
Chiropractors specialize in the biomechanical causes of disease including vertebral subluxations, misalignments, derangements and fixations of the human frame: especially of the spine.
Will the treatment hurt?
Generally there is no discomfort at all, though the area being treated may be tender.
Most patients feel some relief from the very first adjustment.
At any point, if you feel discomfort or pain, please feel free to let the chiropractor know. We will determine the cause and either stop the treatment or continue with less-discomfortable way.
Will my insurance cover my treatment?
Sorry, currently in Japan, insurance will not cover for the chiropractic treatment.
This is because, unlike in the U.S., chiropractic is not considered as a national license and Japanese government is not accepting the chiropractors as doctors.
However, we do offer various discounts such as:
student discount: 4,800yen -> 4,000yen
65+: 4,800yen -> 4,300yen
maternity discount: 4,800yen -> 4,500yen
I am in pain now, how long will I have to wait to get an appointment?
Normally, we can set up an appointment for you right away.
We are open from 9am to 9pm, Mon-Sun except for Tue afternoon.
In cases for those who needs immediate treatment, such as strained back, we do open our office after the office hour.
We also offer a chiropractic home care, which is a treatment done at the comfort of your home. It is targeted for those who have difficulties leaving the house or getting to our office.
We will first ask you the time and the date you wish us to visit, then we will go to your house with a single-sized chiropractic mattress.
How much will this cost?
1st visit: 1,500yen* + 4,800yen** = 6,300yen
2nd visit: 4,800yen
*The initial cost of 1,500yen will apply only on the fist visit.
It will include examination and to create a file of your medical record.
**Price for the treatment is 3,150yen for 30 minutes, or 4,800yen for 60 minutes.
I’ve heard that once I start care, I’ll have to go forever. Is that true?
Patients often fear that once they start the treatment, they would have to visit the office forever. This is not correct.
Chiropractors generally give their patients choices in the type of care the patient can/should receive depending on the types of pain/problem the patients are dealing with.
Typically these choices are:
1. Relief care, i.e. just enough care to get rid of the pain;
2. Corrective care, i.e. care to correct the cause of the problem;
3. Maintenance care, i.e. care to maintain the gain that has been made.
People who complain of having to go over and over are generally those who chose relief care.
When the pain keeps coming back, the patient keeps coming back. Because the cause of the problem was not addressed in relief care, it’s no wonder that the patient must keep coming back.
The purpose of corrective care is just that— to correct the cause of the problem.
Once the cause is corrected, then it’s a matter of periodic visits to maintain the gain that was made.
What are the benefits of chiropractic care?
There are many benefits:
Usually quick pain relief/reduction.
Usually long-lasting results.
Correction of spinal misalignments, which leads to
Slowing down of spinal degeneration (at the least), or
Complete arrest of spinal degeneration (at best), and
Elimination of subluxations.
The biggest benefit of chiropractic care, however, is an overall sense of health and well-being.

How long will it be before I feel better?
Obviously, no doctor can accurately answer this question.
However, chiropractic is known for its fast results.
Many of our patients feel results right away. The majority feel better within a few days. Very few notice a change
after a few weeks.
Sometimes improvement is slowed down by not following the doctor’s advice, e.g. not stopping the “reading in
bed for 2 hours with 3 pillows behind my neck” will certainly prolong one’s neck pain.
What should I expect of the treatment？
The treatment will be for an hour. Before the treatment, we will ask you of your condition, and do some examinations(muscular sustainability, misalignments etc.). According to the result, we will start the treatment.
After the treatment, we will have you learn couple of excercise for you to do by the next treatment. We will also give you advice to your condition.
